Abuja, Aug. 11, 2024 – President Bola Tinubu has appointed six senior special assistants as his presidential liaison aides for the six geopolitical zones.
The APC United Kingdom announced this via its X handle, saying the appointment is to facilitate more effective communication with the zone.
The liaison officers are to engage with Nigerians in their respective zones to explain and discuss the president’s economic policies and other programme as well as serve as direct links between the president and the citizens.
They are to facilitate better understanding of the President’s policies and gather public feedback, thereby ensuring effective communication of government programmes and integrate citizen input into policy development.
The appointees are Moremi Ojudu for South West, Chioma Nweze for South East, Gift Johnbull for South-South, Abiodun Essiet for North Central, Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai for North West, and Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba for North East.
