Otta, Jan. 13, 2023 – President Olusegun Obasanjo says he would have gotten a third term in office if he wanted as he was audacious enough to get it.
He denied claims that he wanted a third term while in office as the president of the country.
Obasanjo said this on Thursday while speaking at a virtual programme organised by the African Leadership Group with the theme ‘Leadership and Nation Building.”
He said he had done his best for Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party by giving his endorsement through the letter he wrote, but would not join his campaign train.
Obasanjo has also denied the allegation that he was planning to rig the 2023 presidential election in favour of Obi.
