Accra, July 10, 2024 – Ghana’s inflation rate fell to 22% in June from 23.1% in May, 2024, the Ghana Statistical Services has reported.
This is the lowest inflation rate in the country since April 2022.
The country’s inflation rate has been on a gradual slide since the beginning of this year.
On a month-to-month basis, the inflation rate in June 2024 was 2.9%, down from May’s 3.2%.
The country’s food inflation rate stood at 24% in June from 22.6% in May 2024. (GBN)
