Lagos, Jan. 9, 2023 – Two people were feared dead on Monday morning when police clashed with Yoruba Nation agitators at the Ojota area in Lagos.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, confirmed the incident.
He said that the Yoruba Nation agitators had gathered unlawfully and were dispersed by the Police.
“Some people calling themselves Yoruba Nation agitators were the ones causing problems. They gathered unlawfully and were agitating, and were dispersed,” Hundeyin said.
According to him, normalcy has since been restored in the area. (GBN)
