Lagos, May 2, 2024 – Some hoodlums set many shops on fire on Thursday during a clash at the Ile-Epo area of Lagos State, leaving many people injured.
Sources said the clash started among the hoodlums on Wednesday night and continued till Thursday morning.
Early attempts to control the fire by Lagos State firemen were prevented by some of the hoodlums who drove the fire truck away.
It took the intervention of the police and other security agencies to control the mayhem and the fire. (GBN)
