Minna, March 13, 2024 – Muhammed Bago, the Niger State Governor on Wednesday announced a N20,000 wage to civil servants to cushion effect of the harsh economic situation across the country.
The governor announced the award during the state Executive Council meeting held in Minna.
The governor assured that the payment would be made unfailing on Wednesday and workers would begin to receive alerts to this effect.
Bago also announced that there would be open feeding of people in various points during the Ramadan.
He said the state government would also commence the distribution of palliatives of 120 trucks of grains to assuage the plight of the people. (GBN)
