Birnin Kebbi, Jan. 17, 2024 – Two immigration officers were attacked and killed by unknown gunmen at the Kangiwa border post in Arewa Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The Kebbi State Command of Nigeria Immigration Service disclosed this in a statement issued by its Spokesman, Abdullahi Isah.
The two officers were Isah Nafui (DSI 34057) and Garba Haruna Fana (NIS 17796).
The command said an investigation into the incident had been launched to get at the perpetrators of the act.
The deceased officers have been buried according to Islamic rites. (GBN)
