Port Harcourt, Dec. 21, 2023 – Gov. Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has granted N100,000 Christmas and New year bonus to civil servants in the state.
Mr. Joe Johnson, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, said the approval was granted on Tuesday for immediate implementation to enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration.
He said this would be the first time in a long while that civil servants in the state would be receiving Christmas bonuses.
Fubara recently announced N800 billion 2024 budget for the state. (GBN)
