Abuja, Dec. 21, 2023 – Olu Agunloye, a former Minister of Power, was on Wednesday temporary released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Dele Oyewale, the EFCC Spokesman, confirmed this on Wednesday.
Agunloye, who has been in detention since Dec. 13, was allowed to go home for a week.
He has been in detention since his arrest after the EFCC declared him wanted over allegation of $6 billion in connection with the Mambilla hydropower project.
Agunloye served as minister of power during President Obasanjo’s administration. (GBN)
