Abuja, April 29, 2025 -The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Aisha Achimugu, a business woman who has been declared wanted.
She was arrested on Tuesday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on arrival from London.
Achimugu has been declared wanted by the EFCC since March over allegations of criminal conspiracy and money laundering,
The Federal High Court in Abuja had ordered her to appear before the EFCC on Tuesday, and also to appear in court on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Chikaosolu Ojukwu, her lawyer, has confirmed her arrival in Nigeria and arrest by the EFCC.
