Abuja, July 13, 2024 – Search and rescue operations are on-going in the site of a two-storey building which collapsed in Abuja on Saturday.
The incident happened in Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) around 7.00am.
The building, located beside the popular Cupid Hotel on Cupid Road (Sultan Dasuki Way) in Kubwa, was formerly Hotel Al-Hilal.Â
Many were trapped in the residential building as emergency responders were making frantic efforts to rescue the victims.
Nkechi Isa, the Spokesperson for the FCT Emergency Management Agency, said there were no fatalities yet. (GBN)
