Lagos, Oct. 3, 2023 – The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is to review cases of the 262,803 candidates whose results were withheld in the 2023 WASSCE.
WAEC said this on Tuesday via its official X handle@waecnigeria.
It said that it had already called the 76th meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee to deliberate on cases of malpractice and irregularities arising from the conduct of 2023 WASSCE for school candidates.
WAEC, while announcing the results of the WASSCE in August 2023, said a total of 263,803 results were withheld due to examination malpractice and irregularities.
Out of a total of 1,613,733 candidates that sat for the examination, the results of 262,803 candidates were withheld. (GBN)
