CAC directs PoS operators to register within 2 months

Abuja, May 8, 2024 – All fintech companies, also known as Point-of-Sale operators (PoS), are to register their businesses with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) within two months. The commission disclosed this via its official X handle. It said this was the agreement reached at a meeting between Fintech companies and Hussaini Magaji, its Registrar-General/Chief Executive in Abuja on Monday. London, Jan. 30, 2024 The United[MTA1]  Parcel Service (UPS) announced it would cut 12,000 jobs in an effort to save $1bn just months after agreeing a costly pay deal with its Teamsters union and as weak demand for its delivery services underpinned a soft annual revenue outlook. LASTMA impounds 15 tankers

Lagos, Nov. 23, 2023 – The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has impounded 15 tankers parked indiscriminately along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos. Adebayo Taofiq, the Spokesman for LASTMA, said in a statement that the vehicles were impounded today, Thursday.
