Tinubu presides over FEC meeting, swears-in Akawor, new Head of RMAFC

 Abuja, Jan. 17, 2023 – President Bola Tinubu is today presiding over the first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting  in 2024.

The meeting, being attended by the minister, also included some presidential aides like the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan; the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila; and National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu.

Tinubu took advantage of the meeting to swear-in Desmond Akawor, the new Head of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

He was sworn-in before the commencement of the FEC meeting. (GBN)
