Abuja, Feb. 13, 2024 – President Bola Tinubu has honoured each member of the Super Eagles team with the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).
Each member of the team was also given a plot of land and a flat within the Federal Capital Territory.
These were in appreciation of their performance at the just concluded CAF 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) where the team finished as runners-up in the competition.
President Tinubu made the pronouncements on Tuesday when he received the players and officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
All the team members and officials were in attendance. (GBN)
