Tinubu holds meeting with service chiefs ahead of trip to India

Abuja, Sept.3, 2023 – President Bola Tinubu on Monday met with the service chiefs to review the security situation in the country before leaving for the G-20 Summit.

The meeting was held behind closed doors.

The meeting was attended by Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, his Navy counterpart, Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar.

Tinubu is to leave for New Delhi, India to attend the G-20 Summit later in the day.

The 2023 G20 New Delhi summit is the 18th meeting of G20.

The summit is scheduled to take place in Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

 It will be the first G20 summit to be held in India.(GBN)
