Abuja, June 10, 2024 – George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), is yet to submit the report of the Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage to President Bola Tinubu.
According to a statement on Monday by Segun Imohiosen, the Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), the Tripartite Committee on Minimum wage has just concluded its assignment and submitted its report to the SGF on Monday, June 10, 2024.
It said a formal presentation of the report would be made to President Tinubu as soon as the leadership of Organised Labour, government, and Organised Private Sector (OPS) representatives arrive from the ongoing International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. (GBN)
