Abuja, Jan. 25, 2023 – The Senate has confirmed the nomination of a former Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, for appointment as Chairman of Police Service Commission (PSC).
The confirmation followed resolution of the Senate on the report of its Committee on Police Affairs
The report was presented on Wednesday by the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Haliru Jika (APC-Bauchi Central).
With the confirmation, Arase will take over from Musiliu Smith, the former Chairman of the Police Service Commission. (GBN)
