Abuja, Nov. 2, 2023 – The Senate has passed the N2.18 trillion 2023 Supplementary Appropriation Bill sent to it for consideration and approval by the presidency on Tuesday.
The supplementary budget was approved by the Federal Executive Council at its meeting on Monday.
The bulk of the provisions of the supplementary budget are for security and wage award already approved by the president.
The Senate gave a speedy consideration to the budget, as demanded by President Tinubu, and approved it after the third reading on Thursday. (GBN)
