Abuja, Nov. 2, 2023 – The House of Representatives has removed the N5 billion allocated to presidential yacht from the N2.18trn supplementary budget.
It has transferred the N5 billion allocated for it to student loans.
Abubakar Bichi, the Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, sad this on Thursday while addressing journalists after the passage of the N2.17 trillion supplementary budget by the House.
Bichi said that the committee had eliminated the item and transferred the funds to the student loan to increase the provision to N10 billion. (GBN)
