Abuja, June 27, 2024 – Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, on Thursday alleged that some private aircraft in Nigeria were being used for money laundering, drug trafficking and other illegal activities.
Keyamo made the allegation in Abuja while inaugurating a Ministerial Taskforce to check illegal aircraft charter in the country.
The minister said that the illicit actions had cost the industry billions of dollars and security breaches.
The eight-man committee is headed by Ado Sanusi, the Chief Executive of Aero Contractors. (GBN)
