NCC committed to meeting needs of core stakeholders – Maida

Kano, Feb. 3, 2024 – Dr Aminu Maida, the Chief Executive of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), says the Commission is committed to serving the needs and meeting the expectations of its core stakeholders.

He listed the core stakeholders as the government, the licensees and the consumers.

Maida said this during his visit to the Kano State Zonal Office of the commission as part of his nationwide tour of the zonal offices of the commission.

Maida also said the commission was committed to boosting the efficiency of its service delivery through digitalising its processes and improving the welfare of workers.

He promised that all decisions of the Commission would be data-driven while also ramping up its compliance activities for productivity and hitch-free service delivery in the telecommunications sector.

The NCC boss said the Commission’s mandate also included prioritising investment in the people.

 He thanked the staff for their hard work and commitment to achieving the NCC’s statutory mandates.

During the visit, Maida interacted with the staff and shared opinions on their activities, engagements and challenges.

He also visited the NCC Emergency Communication Centre (ECC) in the state. (GBN)
