Lagos, July 30, 2023 – The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has opened its second office in Ogun State.
Prof Mojisola Adeyeye, the Director General of NAFDAC, said the opening of the second office in Ogun state demonstrated the agency’s commitment to being a Customer Focused Agency.
She said that the second office in Ogun State had begun operations to bring regulation to the doorsteps of customers in Ota/Agbara axis.
“This is another great gesture to enhance and facilitate easier Regulatory Processes by saving man hour loss to travel time and saving vehicles and clients the hazard of very bad roads,
Adeyeye said the gesture would bring prompt attention to the demands of stakeholders in that environment as a result of proximity,
NAFDAC advised all stakeholders and intending stakeholders operating in the underlisted local govt areas to access NAFDAC Ogun II office in Ota,
The second office is to serve stakeholders in Ado Odo, Imeko Afo, Ipokia, Yewa North, Yewa South, Ifo and Ewekoro.
The Ota Office is located at Plot 6, Block 1 Ogun State Housing Corporation Estate, Ota (behind mobile filling station at the Obasanjo Farms Junction).
NAFDAC’s office in Abeokuta was inaugurated recently to serve stakeholders in the Ogun Central and Ogun East senatorial districts.
“IT IS A NEW DAWN IN OGUN STATE as NAFDAC eases the stress of Stakeholders through this magnanimity,” the agency said, (GBN)
