LASG seals Alaba International Market

Lagos, Oct. 23, 2023 – The Alaba International Market in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State has been sealed by the Lagos State Government.

The market was sealed on Sunday as part of renewed efforts of the state government to improve sanitary conditions in markets across the state.

Tokunboh Wahab, the State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, announced the closure of the market in a post on his official X, formerly Twitter, account on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023.

“Alaba International Market, Ojo has been sealed up for poor waste disposal practices, failure to pay their waste bills, and gross environmental sanitation offences,’’ he said. (GBN)
