Abuja, July 17, 2023 – Sen. Abubakar Kyari, the Deputy National Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has taken over the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling party and its secretariat.
Kyari led a team of seven members of the NWC to a meeting in his office around 10.47 am at the party’s national secretariat on Monday.
Those who came for the meeting were the Deputy National Chairman (South) Emma Enukwu; National Vice Chairman (North West) Salihu Lukman; National Vice Chairman (North East) Salihu Mustapha and National Vice Chairman (North Central) Muazu Bawa.
Others included the National Vice Chairman(South West) Issacs Kekemeke; National Vice Chairman (South East) Ejoroma Arodiogu and the Deputy National Secretary, Barrister Festus Fuanter.
Security around the national secretariat has been beefed up.
The development has confirmed the resignation of the National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, on Sunday. (GBN)
