Kabir Yusuf, the Kano State Governor, has directed the state Accountant-General to close all accounts of the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAS) with immediate effect.
Yusuf gave the directive on Wednesday during the meeting with the Chairman of the Kano State Internal Revenue Service and heads of MDAs at the Government House.
He said the decision was to ensure that all government’s revenue is properly accounted for. (GBN)
