Abuja, March 1, 2023 – INEC has presented Certificate of Return to the President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC.
 INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, presented the certificate to Tinubu in Abuja on Wednesday.
Tinubu won the presidential election, conducted on Feb. 25, by scoring 8,794,726 votes.
Abubakar Atiku of the PDP scored 6,984,520 votes to come second, while Peter Obi of Labour Party scored 6,101,533 votes to come third.
Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP came third by scoring 1,496,687 votes.
Tinubu, while receiving the certificate, reiterated his commitment to the youths and promised to work with them to make Nigeria better.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiama, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha, and former Governor of Ekiti State Kayode Fayemi, among others, were at the event. (GBN)
