Ibadan, Nov. 4, 2023 – Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has said he is in good spirits following the crash-landing of an aircraft he boarded.
The private aircraft skidded off the runway at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday. Some of the minister’s aides were also on the aircraft.
A source close to the minister told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan on Saturday that Adelabu was not perturbed by the incident.
”The minister feels the incident is not something to worry about. It was actually a minor thing, and that is how he has taken it,” the aide who pleaded anonymity said.
The aide told NAN further that the minister, Adelabu, was particularly not worried by the incident because it did not involve any of the passengers leaving with an injury.
”Everyone on board the aircraft when the incident happened actually alighted without any problem, and we have no cause to worry,” the aide said.
