Benin, May 3, 2023 – Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has dissolved the State Executive Council.
Obaseki announced the dissolution during the weekly Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
He said the dissolution of the council was with immediate effect.
A statement by Crusoe Osagie, the Special Advisers (Media Projects) to the Governor, said the governor expressed appreciation to the council members for their service to the government and people of the state.
The statement said all Special Assistants and Senior Special Assistants had also been relieved of their appointments. (GBN)
