Jos, July 9, 2023 – Gov. Caleb Mutwang of Plateau State has imposed 24-hour curfew on Mangu Local Government Area of the state following attacks by suspected bandits that resulted in the loss of lives and property.
Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs in the Governor’s Office, said this in a statement on Sunday.
He said the curfew was to restore law and order in the area.
“Consequently, movements within the local government have been banned until further notice, except for security personnel and persons on essential duties,” the statement said. (GBN).
