Gov. Fubara signs Rivers’ N200bn supplementary budget

Port Harcourt, July 10, 2023 – Gov. Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has signed the N200 billion supplementary budget passed by the Rivers State House of Assembly.

This is barely 37 days after he became governor of the state.

The governor said the supplementary budget would raise the 2023 budget of the state to N750 billion from the initial N550 billion.

He promised to continue the good projects and ideas of former Governor Nyesom Wike.

Fubara said the contract for the proposed 50.5km Port Harcourt Ring Road would soon be awarded as a legacy project.

He assured that his administration would continue to do the right thing within the New Rivers Vision. (GBN)
