Abuja, Jan.30, 2023 – The Nigerian Government has given its approval to the US Government to go ahead and impose visa ban on candidates promoting electoral violence.
Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, said this on Monday during the 20th edition of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Administration Scorecard Series (2015-2023).
The Minister said the proposed action was justifiable as it would help deter saboteurs of Nigeria’s democracy.
He said the Buhari’s administration has always followed the democratic process which ensures smooth elections. (GBN)
