Ibadan, Jan. 16, 2024 – The quietness of parts of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, was ruffled by an explosion in the the metropolis around 8.00pm on Tuesday evening,
There were reports of building collapses and many casualties caused by the explosion.
The Oyo State Police Command confirmed an explosion in Dejo Oyelese Street in the Bodija area.
The command said it could not confirm the number of casualties in the incident, but it had deployed men to forestall breakdown of law and order. (GBN)
