Abuja, May 21, 2023 – The Abuja Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 26 suspected internet fraudsters.
Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC Head, Media, and Publicity, said this in a statement on Sunday.
He said the suspects were picked up in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja.
He said items recovered from them include a Toyota Camry SE, a Mercedes Benz GLK 350 and 2 Lexus IS 250 cars, mobile phones and laptops.
Uwujaren said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as the investigation was concluded. (GBN)
