Lagos, Oct. 9, 2023 – A Lagos High Court has sentenced Drambi Vandi, the police officer who killed Bolanle Raheem, a Lagos lawyer, to death by hanging.
Ibironke Harrison, the judge, on Monday said the court found the police officer guilty of murder.
“The court found the defendant guilty on one-count of murder. You will be hanged by the neck till you are dead,”
Vandi shot at Raheem and killed her instantly at Ajah roundabout in Lagos on Christmas Day in 2022.
He was arraigned on one-court charge of murder. (GBN)
