Abuja, May 17, 2024 – A Federal High Court in Abuja has turned down the bail application filed by Tigran Gambaryan, an executive of Binance Holdings Limited.

Gambaryan is being tried for alleged money laundering offences.

In a ruling on Friday, Justice Emeka Nwite, held that there was the likelihood that Gambaryan would jump bail.

Justice Nwite said he agreed with the prosecution that with the earlier escape of Gambaryan’s co-defendant, Nadeem Anjarwalla, the Binance Regional Manager for Africa, from custody, it was not wise to grant Gambaryan bail. (GBN)
