Abuja, June 25, 2024 – Air Vice Marshal Adebayo Lawal (rtd.), a former Minister of Youth and Sports and Military Administrator of Benue State, has died at the age of 83.
He died in his sleep at his home in the early hours of Sunday, June 23, 2024.
His death has been confirmed by his daughter, Mrs. Yinka Enahoro.
Born on September 14, 1941, in Offa, Kwara State, Lawal was a pioneer officer of the Nigerian Air Force, which he joined in 1963. (GBN)
