Port Harcourt, May 7, 2024 – The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has directed the state House of Assembly to commence impeachment process against the state governor, Siminialayi Fubara.
The Caretaker Committee of the party led by Tony Okocha gave the directive on Tuesday.
It said the action was necessary in view of the recent remarks of Governor Fubara about last intervention in the state’s crisis by President Tinubu.
Fubara had said in a statement last weekend that the House of Assembly was not existing in the state. (GBN)
