Ilesha, Feb. 19, 2023 – Ebenezer Alaro, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, was allegedly shot dead on Sunday during a ward-to-ward campaign in Ilesa by some suspected thugs.
Alaro, a driver of the campaign vehicle, was allegedly killed at Ward Nine, Irojo in Ilesa.
A statement by APC Chairman in Osun, Tajudeen Lawal, alleged that the thugs, who killed the driver, were sponsored by a candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He alleged that the thugs were dressed in police uniform. (GBN)
