Lokoja, Feb. 21, 2023 – In furtherance of the accord reached between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and African Democratic Party (ADC), a campaign organization and an office have been opened for Bola Tinubu, the APC Presidential Candidate of APC in Lokoja, Kogi State.
Leke Abejide, the member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Candidate of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) inaugurated the campaign organization and office on Monday.
The organization, which he called, Asiwaju Confluence Campaign Organisation (ACCO), has also taken off in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
Abejide said his vision for the project stemmed from his realization that Tinubu would be the president that would consolidate on the gains of democracy already laid by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said the structure of the organization was such that could target over 200, 000 votes within itself and hundreds of thousands of other votes from the people outside.
Abejide said the Board of Trustees of the organization was being chaired by Chief James Faleke with Seyi Tinubu as the National Youth Adviser, adding that the structure also had offices of Operation and Special Duties, Youth and Women Mobilisation and Media and Publicity.
The structure has Welfare, Logistics and Protocol Office with Chief David Dare Maiyegun as the Director General, while Dr. Hassan Abdulrahman is the Secretary General and Head of Research, Strategy and Documentation, among others.
“We have also put in place an online registration device for members from within and outside Kogi State for peopleto vote massively for Asiwaju Tinubu.
“In this regard, we are counting on thousands of volunteers who have shown tremendous interest in this God endowed project, destined to move Nigeria to unprecedented progress,” he said. (GBN)
