Lagos, Nov. 28, 2023 – An Appeal Court in Lagos State on Tuesday reaffirmed the election of Siminalayi Fubara as Governor of Rivers State.
The appeal court dismissed the petition of Patrick Tonye-Cole, the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against Fubara of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal had earlier in October dismissed Tonye- Cole’s petition requesting that he should be declared as the winner of the 2023 Governorship Election in the state. (GBN)
