Kano, Sept. 20, 2023 -The Kano State Election Tribunal has sacked Abba Kabiru Yusuf as Kano State Governor.
The three-man tribunal, headed by Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay, invalidated the election of Yusuf and declared Nasir Gawuna, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), as the winner of the election.
The tribunal ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue a Certificate of Return to the APC candidate. (GBN)
