Abuja, July 7, 2024 – President Bola Tinubu has been reelected Chairman of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of States and Government for another term of one year.
He was reelected at the 65th Ordinary Session of the Authority in Abuja, Nigeria, on Sunday.
While accepting the offer, the President said he had accepted to continue to deliver on this service with the great men and women on this democratic journey, to serve our interest and build democratic values on the structure we inherited.
His first term will end on Tuesday. (GBN)
