Kaduna, Dec. 4, 2023 – Not less than 30 villagers in Tudun Birri in Kaduna State were allegedly killed by bombs dropped on the villagers by a Nigerian Air Force jet on Sunday night.
The incident happened around 9:00 pm on Sunday as the villagers were celebrating Maulud, an Islamic celebration.
Samuel Aruwan, the Acting Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs in the state, confirmed the incident, saying the government would address a press conference at the Government House.
“We will address the press at Government House on the situation because there would be a security meeting later. So, let’s meet by 10 am,” he said. (GBN)
